Treviño, Bravo head to run-off in District 1 race

District 1 Councilman Roberto Treviño is headed into a run-off in his bid for re-election on City Council, having captured 44.9% of the vote (5,645 votes) in Saturday night’s municipal election. Mario Bravo, Treviño’s fiercest challenger, came in second with 33.6% (4,225 votes).

Tracing COVID-19's spread through metro Detroit restaurants is an inexact science

Even as some Michigan restaurants continue to flout a state order temporarily banning indoor dining, there is still little public information available on how COVID-19 is spreading through the state’s restaurants.

While contact tracers are overwhelmed because of how widespread the virus now is in almost every community, the limited data available paints an incomplete picture for workers and the public who are still looking for reliable ways to judge their risk.
